Twain Harte Railroad Grade - Artist Mentoring Walk & Talk
This is an in-person walking conversation for people who are considering starting a career as a professional artist or are already making art professionally and want some coaching or guidance.
We’ll take a relaxed walk along the Twain Harte Railroad Grade and I will answer any questions you have about the art business.
This is a space to ask honest questions and think out loud. Topics might include:
-Branding and marketing
-Selling art in person vs. online, pricing, galleries and shows
-Materials, time, momentum, and doubt or mindset
-Painting as a hobby vs. career
Because we’ll be walking, this offering is best for conversation and big-picture questions. It’s not ideal if you want detailed portfolio review, website walkthroughs, or - note-taking—but it is great if you think better while moving.
Details:
-1.5-hour walk and conversation
In person, on the Twain Harte Railroad Grade (no online appointments available)
-$40 (the price is low because I was once in your shoes!)
-Open to anyone who loves making art and is curious about the professional path
-Dress comfortably for walking and weather
This is not a class or a lecture—just time, movement, and an honest conversation about art and the life around it.
To make an appointment, email me at liana@lianasteinmetz and we can set up a time (weekdays only between 9am - 3pm) and I will show you where to meet.
No refunds for no-shows but I am happy to reschedule if you let me know within 24 hours.
It will be fun!
