ABOUT THE VIEW:
Recently I have been thinking a lot about the universe and why we are here and what is here that we cannot see and what happens when we die. Fun stuff! Totally. Seriously. Anyway, one idea I like is that no new souls are born on earth. Everyone who is here has been around before. The reason is that being human is hard. It’s not for beginners. Living here involves pain and loss and it is too harsh for new souls. Life here can be really, really hard.
But we choose to come anyway. I like to think that we come because the beauty of the planet is so mind blowing and unique that it makes it worth it. The love and beauty balance out the pain.
So while we are here, let’s notice the beauty. Let’s watch the way the wind moves the oat grass like waves of water. Let’s be memorized by the way the light filters through the oak leaves. Let’s giggle like kids at the rainbow backs of hermit crabs while they crawl in our palms.
Every day the world offers its beauty to us. Beauty is everywhere and it is a gift.
So sitting here between Slide Ranch and Muir Beach, I let go of the worries, the insecurities. Even for just a short time. I focus on the untamed flowers in front of me, the gentle breeze and the ocean down below. I bask in my human experience and my gratitude for such a beautiful world.
PRINT OPTIONS INFO:
PAPER:
- Printed on high-quality, archival grade, acid-free, 100% cotton rag inkjet paper.
- The size in the drop down menu is the size of the image including the white border.
- White borders are approximately 1 inch on all sides, that is included in the size of the paper.
-Sizes of prints are standard and finding ready-made frames to fit should be easy.
FRAMED PAPER:
- Smooth, beautiful solid oak frame with optical-grade clear acrylic (you really can't tell it's not glass!)
- The frame and matboard are included in the size of the print.
- The 1" matboard is a 4-ply white mat with an attractive bevel at 45 degrees.
- There is a wire on the back, and it is ready to hang.
CANVAS:
- I print on thick, archival-grade, pH neutral and acid-free canvas.
- The canvas has a satin finish and is gallery-wrapped over 1.5 inch deep edge wooden bars, with the image is mirrored onto the sides.
- Water resistant, easy to wipe clean and will last for decades.
- There is a wire on the back and it is ready to hang.
FRAMED CANVAS:
- Offering a walnut frame around a 1.25 inch stretched canvas or an oak frame around a 1.5 inch stretched canvas. Frames add about 1 inch to the painting on each side.
- These are floating frames. They give the canvas print the illusion of floating inside the frame.
- There is a wire on back, and it is ready to hang.

Do not hang your canvas print in direct sunlight because the colors will fade over time. However if the spot you have for it gets sun, I recommend using a UV archival varnish spray. Easy to apply. Contact me for details.
Paper Prints
My paper giclees are printed on thick, luxurious fine art paper. Each print is printed on high-quality, archival grade, acid-free, 100% cotton rag inkjet paper.
All paper prints have a 1-inch white border that is included in the size of the print.
Framed Paper
My framed paper prints are framed in smooth, beautiful solid wood with optical-grade clear acrylic (you really can't tell it's not glass!).
Includes a 4-ply, 1 inch white mat with an attractive bevel at 45 degrees.
The frame and mat board are included in the size of the print.
Arrives ready to hang with a wire on the back.
Stretched Canvas
My giclee canvas prints are on thick, archival-grade, pH neutral and acid-free canvas. A bright, white surface supports vibrant, dazzling colors.
The gallery-wrapped canvases are stretched over 1.5 inch deep edge wooden bars, with the image mirrored onto the sides.
Satin finish. Arrives wired and ready to hang. It is not recommended to hang your canvas in direct sunlight.
Water resistant, easy to wipe clean and will last for decades.
Framed Canvas
My floating frames for canvas prints come in oak or walnut. The oak is solid wood and the walnut is made from a variety of quality wood with a beautiful walnut color finish. They give the canvas print the illusion of floating inside the frame.
Your choice of a walnut frame around 1.25 inch stretched canvas or an oak floating frame around 1.5 inch stretched canvas.
Frames add about 1 inch to the painting on each side.
Arrives with a wire on the back for easy hanging.
