Artist Notes: I am driving from Bolinas, up towards Rock Springs on Tam. I am about to hit Bolinas Ridge, but before I do I come around the corner and the view stuns me. The light is low and warm. The sharp sun hits the hills so completely, I swear I can see every blade of grass, every pine needle. The shadows are long and silky. I slow down and stop. I have to take this in. I look past my hands on the steering wheel. My rings are shining in the light and I give myself permission to just sit here for a while.

Packed with Care
Making sure your painting arrives safely is one of the most important parts of my business. I use bubble wrap, newspaper, and honeycomb packing paper to make sure your painting stays in perfect condition along its journey.
I feel strongly about creating as little waste as possible so I reuse packing materials whenever I can, but they will always protect your paintings with maximum care. Your painting may come in a reused box and/or with gently used bubble wrap or paper.
Framed Originals
Except for my small paintings, most original paintings come unframed. For those, the sides are painted as a continuation of the painting, so they look finished and beautiful to hang without a frame.
Want to Add a Frame?
If you prefer a frame, I can make that happen for a reasonable fee. Contact me and I can help you choose a frame to go with your piece. The frame will be custom made from hardwood, so it will add about a three to four weeks to your order. My favorite style of frame is a walnut or maple float, which means there is air space between the painting and the frame.

As I was moving away from San Francisco, I wanted to capture the beauty of the view from my hilltop flat. I'd fallen in love with Liana's work when I'd seen it years earlier, and I knew she was who I wanted to bring that vision to life. Luckily for me she said yes.
