ARTIST NOTES: I painted this from the driveway of Slide Ranch. I am looking north. It is windy and crisp. I watch crows hover like kites. My shade umbrella keeps flying up and I have to tie it down to my easel with some green yarn I find in my backpack. I am energized, present and totally happy to be here.

Packed with Care
Making sure your painting arrives safely is one of the most important parts of my business. I use bubble wrap, newspaper, and honeycomb packing paper to make sure your painting stays in perfect condition along its journey.
I feel strongly about creating as little waste as possible so I reuse packing materials whenever I can, but they will always protect your paintings with maximum care. Your painting may come in a reused box and/or with gently used bubble wrap or paper.
Framed Originals
Except for my small paintings, most original paintings come unframed. For those, the sides are painted as a continuation of the painting, so they look finished and beautiful to hang without a frame.
Want to Add a Frame?
If you prefer a frame, I can make that happen for a reasonable fee. Contact me and I can help you choose a frame to go with your piece. The frame will be custom made from hardwood, so it will add about a three to four weeks to your order. My favorite style of frame is a walnut or maple float, which means there is air space between the painting and the frame.

As I was moving away from San Francisco, I wanted to capture the beauty of the view from my hilltop flat. I'd fallen in love with Liana's work when I'd seen it years earlier, and I knew she was who I wanted to bring that vision to life. Luckily for me she said yes. It was in the height of the pandemic so we did a video call, and I gave her the tour and shared some pictures. She turned that into a beautiful reincarnation of that gorgeous vista that I can now look at every day, even though I've moved thousands of miles away.
