Holiday Gallery Show in Sonora, California

Holiday Time! Yay!

All of my paintings in this show were painted plein air (outside) in Tuolumne County, California. Since moving here I have made good friends with another plein air painter, Sally Anne Fischer. She has lived here all her life and knows the best spots to go paint! We paint together often and share business ideas.

She recently opened a gallery space downtown Sonora and asked me to participate in a holiday group show. Of course I said yes, but so did all of the other landscape painters in the area, all of which have more established careers and show in museums.

One of the artists, Peggi Kroll Roberts, has been a favorite of mine for twenty-years! "Art Collector" magazine did a profile on her work and ever since then I have been super fan. I am REALLY excited about showing with her! She is a master of shape and shadow.

Other artists in the show include: Ray Roberts, Charles Walman, Kathleen Dunphy and Sally Anne Fischer.
